Well, it's there to help the drones take on the scram/jam frigates, as the large turrets won't be able to hit them at 10-15k. plus i don't have enough fitting for another large.

i'll agree with arguement that the loot tables are a bit weird in terms of rats dropping stuff they blatantly don't use, but in terms of what to do with what you get, if it's not worth over 100k and i don't want it it goes straight in the reproces...

if bombers were given torpedos then they couldn't hit anything small and fast, with cruises and their hidden bonus to damage vs small targets they can, unless you're proposing giving torps the same, which some might consider overpowered. I agree ...

if you get your standing high enough, can't you run L4 courier missions a lot faster than kill missions, especially with WTZ now, thus getting more frequent storylines? and the cosmos constellations themselves give high standings iirc.
